Lviv - Hole in the Wall
I am sure you have heard or even used the term “hole in the wall” to describe a restaurant or some form of eatery. On my walks and wanders I noticed that there all sorts of places that literally look like a hole in the wall. Quaint, cool, and sometimes just convenient little places to get whatever you want or need when on the go. There are some that cater to times when you are not on the go and want to enjoy a sit down. Coffee, food, drinks, you name it. There will be something you can just walk up to and order from. Some places there will just be a small sliding window; other places some wide open shutters. I personally think is really cool that this is so common here in Lviv.
This seems such a good way to grab some local baked goods or pastries. My goodness shake your head next time you wait over a half hour in a Tim Hortons.
You can even walk up to one of these little windows to buy your bread or other baked goods. Just going to show, you don’t always need a big shop or store. Just enough space to display what is for sale, and enough window room to make the exchange.
The same principles apply to alcohol . . .
A different way to do take out . . . more like take on the way.
