Lviv . . . More 'It's In The Details'.
There is just too much to see architecturally in this city. I had not been paying attention quite as much as I was my first few months here. I was giving myself a visual break. For a while I was consumed with volunteering, and had curated so many posts that I needed to slow down to allow some of the backlog to work itself out. And as you saw, I decided to do a little writing about some of the things going on with me (sorry about all the food related posts).
There were endless occasions where I wanted to pull out my camera and capture something, but I was usually on the move walking somewhere. I kept telling myself I would get it another day when I decide to take some time off or take a rest. Still working on that. But this instalment of ‘it’s in the details’ is dedicated to the things I had passed by so often but didn’t really notice. I captured most of these images when I had a bit of a change in accommodation and had slightly new routes to walk (despite having walked these area so many times before). You learn something new when you take the time look at something from a different perspective. Or maybe slow down and look at something you let escape your attention. Maybe a life lesson in there somewhere.
So I decided to keep looking up. And noticed more things I had just missed because I was paying attention to pedestrians most of the times I walked this section.
I have shown this next building before. I am positive. Despite that I am showing it to you again. I walked passed this building so many times. However, this time I actually noticed the statues. It floored me. How could I miss these incredible works of art? Maybe paying attention to all the other things to appreciate about this building. So I am going to show them closer up as well.
